Richard Rosenfeld

Richard is a veteran in the fashion education industry. As a professor at Parsons, Richard taught fashion model for drawing 30 years. He also teaches various fashion drawing lessons at the Fashion Institute of Technology, where he has been since 1989. In the industry, Richard has illustrated for the following clients in the fashion industry: Women’s Wear Daily, magazines such as Vogue, Seventeen, Brides and stores such as Neiman Marcus, Joseph Magnin, Franklin Simon, and at Calvin Klein collection for designer Francisco Costa. Richard attended Rhode Island School of Design and is a graduate of Parsons School of Design. Richard’s philosophy for teaching fashion drawing is to impress upon students how to best communicate their designs and to find their own way of drawing that expresses their creativity through their own personal style.
