MODULE 1 • Lesson Prep

Step Description
1 For this lesson, we have prepared a piece of velvet measuring 10” (25.4cm) wide by 8” (20.3cm) long.
2 We will be using an open top thimble and Six Strand cotton embroidery floss for demonstration purposes. You would want to use matching cotton thread if this were an actual garment hem.
3 Place your thimble on your middle finger and then cut a 15” (38.1cm) strand from the embroidery floss package.
