Three-Petal Flower
This lesson will teach you how to create a couture quality three-petal flower. You will first learn how to make the pattern and then cut the flower pieces out of your desired fabric. Using a combination of machine and hand-stitching, we will teach you the steps involved in forming the flower, which can later be used to decorate a hat or on other areas of a garment, such as a lapel, collar, sleeve, hem or waistline.
Try your hand at other couture embellishment techniques, such as our Bias-Cut Wrap Carnation or our Wrap Rose lesson.
