MODULE 1 • Preparing the Dress Form

Step Description
1 The first step when draping the tent dress is to establish your guidelines and style lines on the dress form.
2 For the bust level, tape from the left apex to the right apex, ending at the side seam. Make sure that the style tape is parallel to the floor.
3 Style tape the boat neckline at ¼” (6mm) down, at the center front/neck intersection, forming a slight curve and ending 1” (2.5cm) away from the neck at the shoulder.
