Tailored Edge/Baby Hem
This lesson is the tailored edge or baby hem finish, a great choice when creating a small hem on any sheer fabric, such as organza, batiste, voile, chiffon, georgette or any soft, lightweight fabric. You will learn how to sew this hem without having to purchase a machine hemming foot, while learning tricks of the trade for making this beautiful hem finish. Once you complete this sampler, you’ll be ready to tackle that 10 yards of sheer skirt hem and finish it in no time. For other sheer hem finishes, check out our Sheer Hems compilation lesson.
