Drawing Smocking

1A | Start this lesson by mapping the gesture of the fashion pose, beginning with plum line, the neck and the shoulders. You will add the figure’s torso and arms next. Finish the gesture by mapping the other side of the figure’s torso and arm. |
1B | Add the figure’s jawline. |
2A | We will begin by planning the smocking on our turtleneck collar. Using a curly pencil line, map the ruffle edge of the collar. |
