MODULE 1 • Preparing the Dress Form

Step Description
1 The first step when draping the shift dress is to establish the dress form guidelines using style tape.
2 Style tape the bust level from the left apex to the right apex. to the right side seam. Be sure that the style tape is parallel to the floor.
3A Style tape the hip level at 7” (17.8cm) down from the bottom of the dress form’s waist tape at center front.
