Rendering Camouflage

Learn how to render a camouflage print using a combination of pencils and markers. Once you have downloaded the reference swatch and the male fashion croquis supplied with this lesson, print the fashion croquis to use as your canvas. You will start the lesson by doing a test swatch of the pattern on scrap pattern. Then, we will teach you how to lay down the foundation color and map the camouflage pattern on the pants. You will also learn how to hold your tools to get the best results. The lesson concludes with a demonstration on shading, to add depth and polish to the illustration.
