Pinked & Open Seam Finish

Pinked & Open Seam Finish

Pinked & Open Seam Finish

This lesson will teach you how to sew a pinked and opened seam finish. This seam finish is most often used on wools and fabrics that do not fray excessively. We begin this lesson by instructing you on how to cut your seam sampler pieces. Then, we will show you how to use your pinking shears to trim the edges and finally how to finish the seam. Compared to other more labor-intensive seam finishes, this one is a breeze!
