In this beginner lesson, you will learn how to create a petal sleeve using your straight sleeve sloper. The petal sleeve is a favorite and is used in childrenswear, sportswear and eveningwear. You will also learn how to use all of your drafting tools and how to true a perfect pattern.

The sleeve sloper needed for this lesson can be found and drafted in our Pattern making lesson: Straight Sleeve Sloper.

Once you master this lesson, try your hand at other short sleeve lessons like the Puff Sleeve and the Short Flare Sleeve.
