Long Bell Sleeve
This lesson will teach you how to draft a long bell sleeve with a sleeve facing. Using your straight sleeve sloper as the foundation, you will learn how to use the ‘slash and spread’ method to add flare to the hem of the sleeve. You will learn how to use your pattern making tools as you draft the sleeve and then you will finish the sleeve off by drafting a bell sleeve facing. This sleeve will add a nice touch to your blouse, dress and jacket designs.
For other sleeve options view our Bishop Sleeve and our Puff Sleeve lessons.
The sleeve sloper needed for this lesson can be found and drafted in our Pattern making lesson: Straight Sleeve Sloper.
