What is Licensing?

Today we’re going to talk about the licensing fundamentals for fashion designers. We’ll start with what is licensing. Licensing is the leasing or renting of a specific good for a preset time in a specific territory and in a particular tier of distribution.

What can be licensed?

So, what can be licensed? A name, a logo, a slogan, a signature, a brand, a piece of art, events, or even characters.
