MODULE 1 • Lesson Prep
Step | Description |
---|---|
1 | To begin, prepare two pieces of fabric, measuring 6” (15.2cm) wide cut in the width grain by 12” (30.5cm) long cut in the length grain of the fabric. The edges have been pinked, to prevent the fabric from unraveling. |
2 | Identify the right side of the fabric. Then using your tailor’s chalk, mark an X on the wrong sides of both fabric pieces. |
3 | Also, on the wrong sides of the fabric pieces, measure and draw a line for ¾” (1.9cm) seam allowance. On one piece from the left length edge, and on the other piece from the right length edge. These are the stitching guidelines for the zipper placement. |
