Lace Appliqué Blanket Stitch

This lesson will teach you the tricks of the trade when working with lace. You will learn how to extract a motif from lace yardage and then appliqué that motif onto silk organza or another fabric of your choice, using a blanket hand-stitch technique. We will teach you how to apply this technique to make your bridal, evening and lingerie designs couture quality.

Step Description
1 For this lesson, you will need to cut a piece silk organza 10” (25.4cm) square.
2 And one piece of Chantilly lace.
