Knitting a Trellis Lace Stitch

Knitting a Trellis Lace Stitch

Knitting a Trellis Lace Stitch

This stitch is the trellis lace stitch. Lace stitches have a rhythm that’s fun and relaxing, lots of looping and swirling – that’s why I love them. You can use this stitch for a scarf or shawl, or for a lacey open cardigan.  You can use a big, thick fuzzy yarn with big needles, or a thin yarn and tiny needles – whatever you want.
