Hi, my name is Noor Bchara, the founder of Upcycle Design School. This lesson is your Introduction to Sustainable Fashion Design and what it means to design with sustainability in mind. You will learn the difference between upcycling and recycling and other relevant terms, such as circular economy, slow fashion, zero waste pattern making, blockchain and transparency, as it relates to the supply chain. You will also be introduced to the agencies, associations, groups and coalitions that monitor the sustainable marketplace.
