In this lesson, you will be introduced to the Adobe Photoshop interface. You will understand how to create a new document and how to open a downloaded file. You will also be introduced to the Photoshop application bar, control panel, toolbox, and right-side design panels. Finally, you will learn how to customize your Photoshop workspace to meet your personal design needs.

MODULE 1 • Create a New Blank Document in Adobe Photoshop

2 | To start, we are going to create a new blank document. |
3 | When you open the Photoshop program, a series of toolbars and palettes will show up around an empty grey screen. To begin a project, we will need to create a new document to work off of. |
