What is Licensing?Today we’re going to talk about licensing and the history of fashion licensing. We’ll start by learning about what licensing is. Licensing is when one party gives permission to use a legally registered and protected trademark or copyrighted item to another. That can be a name, a thing, a likeness, a logo, a design or signature, a character, or even software. Licensing is a business arrangement for a fee.
