Step Description
1 This is a standard polyester thread, which will be used for basting around the edge of the buttonhole and stabilizing the fabric and interfacing.
2 This is a buttonhole twist, which is used for the actual blanket buttonhole stitches that go around the edge of the buttonhole.
3 This is also a buttonhole twist, but it doesn’t have the same shine and is less commonly used in hand sewing but is commonly used in machine buttonholes.
