MODULE 1 • Lesson Tools
Step | Description |
---|---|
1 | This is a standard polyester thread, which will be used for basting around the edge of the buttonhole and stabilizing the fabric and interfacing. |
2 | This is a buttonhole twist, which is used for the actual blanket buttonhole stitches that go around the edge of the buttonhole. |
3 | This is also a buttonhole twist, but it doesn’t have the same shine and is less commonly used in hand sewing but is commonly used in machine buttonholes. |
