MODULE 1 • PLANNING THE FIGURE

Step Description
1 The first thing you need to do, is to establish your center or plum line. Begin by centering your ruler on the page and place a mark at the midway point.
2 On the centerline place a mark ¼” (6mm) away from the top and bottom of the page.
3 With your ruler or preferably by eye, draw a centerline down from the top ¼ mark, to the bottom ¼ mark. Place a crossmark at the top, bottom and middle of the centerline.
