Drafting an Off-Shoulder Knit Top with Cuff – 2 Variations
This lesson will teach you how to draft two variations of an off-shoulder knit top: one with a flat neckline cuff and the other with a gathered neckline cuff. By referring to the fashion illustrations, you will learn how to interpret the sketch to determine key measurements, such as the neck drop, the width of the neckline cuff and the amount of gathers to add.
The sleeveless knit T-shirt sloper needed for this lesson can be found and drafted in our lesson: Drafting a Women’s Fitted Stable Knit T-Shirt from Measurements. And the fabric planned for this draft is a cotton/Lycra single knit jersey.
