MODULE 1 • Lesson Prep & Placket

Step Description
1 Alright, our step number one is to trace our shirt, front and back for this step. As you can see, my shirt block is marked in regular pencil. Now, the blue lines, small dotted lines are my final pattern, my final block.
2 So, I am going to start right at the shoulder. As you’d recall in the shirt, our seam is more towards the front. But in this particular shirt hoodie, the seam sits right at the shoulder. So, we are going to cross out our original seam and move it back up 1” (2.5cm). so, this is crossed out.
3A Then, we come to our neck. We have a placket at the neck. So, we take ½” (1.3cm) in because we have a 1” (2.5cm) placket. So, we are going to cross this out as well.
