In this lesson you will learn how to draft a pair of jeans from your basic pants sloper. You will also learn how to create front and back jean pockets as well as a fly front zipper closure.

MODULE 1 • Lesson Prep

Step Description
1 In this lesson you will learn how to draft a pair of jeans from your basic pants sloper. You will also learn how to create front and back jean pockets as well as a fly front zipper closure.
2 To draft pair of jeans, I have traced off my basic pants sloper and placed them on a large piece of paper, aligning the crotch line and hipline and making sure that the grainlines are parallel to each other.
3A At the fullest part of the side seam, square a line from this point (side seam) to the center front.
