We’re going to demonstrate how easy it is to draft a girl’s A-line dress pattern, by using your child front and back torso slopers, from our ‘Drafting a Child Torso Sloper’ lesson. This is a classic silhouette in girls’ dresses, from which you can easily create a variety of styles.

Step Description
1A Prepare a piece of unlined pattern paper, measuring 23” (58.4cm) wide by 30” (76.2cm) long.
1B You will also need your front and back torso slopers.
