Drafting a Dart-less Torso Sloper & Sleeve

In this lesson, you will learn how to draft a dart-less torso sloper and sleeve, using your front waist dart bodice block and your shoulder dart back bodice block. This sloper will be used as the foundation for any of your designs that call for a boxy silhouette, or whenever you are looking to eliminate darts.

MODULE 1 • Lesson Prep

Step Description
1 For this lesson you’ll need your front One Waist-Dart Sloper and your Back-Shoulder Dart Sloper.
2 Begin by tracing-off your front and back bodice slopers. Trace-off your dart intake marks, vanishing points, both front and back, but don’t copy off your armhole notches.
3A Measure the front armhole and divide it into thirds.
