Drafting a Child’s Shorts

Once you have viewed and drafted your child pants sloper, it’s easy to draft a pair of child’s shorts. We will show you how to use your pants sloper to create a pair of boy’s or girl’s drawstring shorts with inseam pockets.

Step Description
1 For this lesson, you will need to prepare a piece of white unlined pattern paper, measuring 32” (81.3cm) wide by 28” (71.1cm) long.
2 You will also need your child front and back pants sloper.
