In this lesson, we will be completing the front view of the coat, as well as the back. We will be adding sleeves and a vent pleat and back strap to the back. We will also be adding shadows to finish off our flat drawing.

MODULE 1 • Examining the Jacket/Coat Croquis & Creating the Folded Sleeve
Step | Description |
---|---|
1 | In this lesson, we’ll be finishing the front view of the jacket flat sketch, as well as completing the back view. |
2 | If you have not yet created the first part of the front flat view of the jacket, go back and do so before continuing. Open up your file ‘Front Flat Coat Jacket Croquis,’ that we have been working on in the last lesson. |
3 | Once the file has loaded, we can see that we have partially completed the front view of the coat that we are sketching, from the designer’s sketch on the right-hand side. |
