Disabilities & Adaptive Fashion
Now that we’ve established a foundation in our first lecture of this adaptive fashion lecture series, this second lecture, Disabilities & Adaptive Fashion, dives into the various clothing challenges faced by different disability groups. After learning about the clothing challenges, we’ll talk through the 3 different approaches to clothing for people with disabilities: hacked, adaptively-designed, and universally-designed.

| 1 | Welcome to Lecture Two in this Adaptive Fashion Lecture Series. This lecture focuses on the intersection of disability and fashion. If you have not already watched lecture one, Introduction to Adaptive Fashion, we do recommend that you watch lecture one prior to watching this lecture.
This lecture will dive into the disability groups and their challenges with clothing as well as approaches to clothing by people with disabilities. As we previously did in the last lecture, we will be including visual descriptions to help anyone who needs or who may not be able to see the screen, so on this slide, we have a group of seven people. They are all smiling. A few of them are waving at the camera.
