MODULE 1 • Intro to Tech Packs

Step Description
1 So, a tech pack is essentially all of the information that you need to put into a package for your factory to successfully produce your garment. So, in this lesson, you’ll learn how to do a tech pack in Illustrator, and you’ll also learn the four pages that are the most important in a tech pack. So, as an overview, you’ll have your cover page, which includes your brand name, the season that it’s indicated for, the style name and number, any color call outs, and all of the components that are listed into your garment.
2 The second page that you’ll have is your bill of materials. This simply lists out all of the components to a granular detail and every single size, color and measurement that you need in order to create your garment.
