MODULE 1 • Lesson Prep

Step Description
1A  The first step for this lesson, is to style tape the neckline. For a jewel neckline you must drop the neckline ¼” (6mm) at center front, and then blend the style tape to the dress form’s shoulder.
1B Style tape the bustline of the dress form, from the left apex to the right side seam.
2 For a size 6 dress form, you will need to prepare a muslin block that measures 14” (35.6cm) in the width grain x 21” (53.3cm) long in the length grain of the muslin.  You should always remove the selvage of the muslin first. Snip and tear your front muslin so that your block will be on grain.
