MODULE 1 • Lesson Prep

Step Description
1A We begin this lesson by style taping our sweetheart neckline, which for a size 6, is 6” (15.2cm) down from the center front neck and 3” (7.6cm) away from the neck at the shoulder.
1B We also style taped the bustline on the right-side of the dress form, from apex to side seam. Be sure that the bustline is level with the floor.
2 For a size 6 dress form, you will need to prepare a muslin block that measures 14” (35.6cm) wide in the width grain x 21” (53.3cm) long in the length grain of the muslin. You should always remove the selvage from the muslin first.  Snip and tear your front muslin, so that your block will be on grain.
