Blanket Stitch
Learn how to create a decorative blanket stitch that can be used as an embellishment on the edges of jackets, coats, sleeves, pockets or any of your designs where you are looking to create a special touch. We will demonstrate an easy technique using Tiger Tape so that your blanket stitch will turn out perfect, every time!

Step | Description |
---|---|
1 | For this lesson, we have prepared a piece of wool melton measuring 3 ½” (8.9cm) in the width grain by 6” (15.2cm) in the length grain. |
2A | Mark the fabric with your triangle chalk marker at 3/8” (1cm) away from the length edge of your fabric. |
2B | Then, reposition the swatch and chalk the width edge at 3/8” (1cm) away. |
