Besom/Jetted Flap Pocket
In this lesson, we shall teach you how to construct a besom pocket with a flap. This pocket is most often used in men’s and women’s jackets.

Step | Description |
---|---|
1 | For this lesson, you will need a piece of wool, measuring 9” (22.9cm) by 10” (25.4cm) long. |
2 | We would also require two welt pieces. The first one 8” (20.3cm) by 2” (5.1cm) long. And, the second one 8” (20.3cm) wide by 1 ½” (3.8cm) long. |
3 | Additionally, we would require a piece of interfacing measuring 8” (20.3cm) wide by 2” (5.1cm) long. |
