Beading Needle Embroidery
Let us teach you the art of beading needle embroidery, as it is done at famous French couture embroidery houses. We will start by introducing you to the tools and supplies that you will need, and then how to plan and sew your bead and sequin motif. Once you learn the process, you will want to embellish your many of your designs to make them that much more special.

MODULE 1 • Lesson Prep & Hoop Assembly
Step | Description |
---|---|
1 | For this lesson, we are using a piece of sheer brocade measuring 13” (33cm) in the width of the fabric by 9” (22.9cm) in the length, however you may want to cut your fabric 13” (33cm) square to fit the smaller end of your tabletop embroidery hoop. |
2A | Begin by placing your sheer brocade fabric on the inner hoop of the smaller end of the tabletop embroidery hoop. |
2B | Now, secure the outer hoop to the inner hoop, pushing down on the hoop to set it in place. Make sure that the fabric is taut and that there is no slack on the fabric surface. |
