Pablo V. Cazares is an artist and designer from the central coast of California. With a background in technical design and always seeking a new challenge, he's worked on products as diverse as childrenswear with Hanna Andersson to engineering self-inflating pillows with TravelWedge to transgender fit design with Both& Apparel. He has worked as a mentor at the Pacific Northwest College of Art, and is currently attending Rhode Island School of Design for his MFA in Sculpture. He holds a Bachelors of Science in Art Practice from Portland State University, and an Associates Degree in Apparel Design. As a student, Pablo's work was featured at Portland Fashion Week, and he was awarded The Ford Foundation Critical Conversations Grant, the McGlassen Prize for Textile Arts, and the Visionary Award for his work with kombucha biotextiles in a statewide innovation competition.
