Lindsay Boehl

Lindsay Boehl is a New York–based textile designer who began her career as a CAD artist at a textile converter, where she created men’s shirting stripes, plaids, prints, and patterns for major brands including Ralph Lauren, American Eagle, and Wrangler.

She is currently the owner of Elderberry Creative, a boutique studio specializing in surface pattern design and custom creative projects. In addition to her design work, Lindsay serves as an adjunct professor at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in the Center for Continuing & Professional Studies, where she teaches courses in marketing and design, including UI Design and Photoshop I.

Previously, Lindsay was the Manager of Customer Advocacy at a leading provider of fashion and textile CAD solutions for Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. In this role, she led a team of trainers and support specialists for nearly a decade, helping designers maximize their use of industry-specific software. Her background in textile design made her particularly well-suited to this position, as the platform supports streamlined workflows for fashion and textile creation within Adobe tools. Her expertise spans the full scope of the textile industry, including color matching, knit and woven design, technical fashion sketching, digital fabric printing, and end-to-end garment production.

Lindsay views textile design as an ongoing journey of exploration and innovation. She is especially passionate about emerging technologies and their impact on the creative process. Teaching has been one of the most rewarding aspects of her career, from leading corporate trainings to providing one-on-one mentorship.

A graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology, Lindsay holds a double major in Display & Exhibit Design and Fabric Styling. She credits her professors for nurturing her creative development and is proud to carry that legacy forward by educating the next generation of designers.
