Kathlin Argiro

Kathlin Argiro is a New York-based fashion designer who launched her fashion company in 1997. Her debut dress collection was picked up by top stores, such as Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue and Bloomingdales. Kathlin honed her knowledge of couture dressmaking techniques while working for top eveningwear designers Arnold Scaasi and Carmen Marc Valvo.

Kathlin Argiro Collection dresses have been featured on What Not to Wear, Today Show Throws a Wedding, The View, Ambush Makeover, and on the WPIX11 in NYC. In addition, they have been featured regularly in top national magazines, including Vogue, In Style, Women’s Wear Daily, Washington Post, Elegant Bride, In Style Weddings and Martha Stewart Weddings.

The Kathlin Argiro Collection is a favorite amongst celebrities, including style guru Stacy London of What Not to Wear, the Today Show’s Katie Couric and Meredith Viera, and Melissa Rivers for E Entertainment’s Red Carpet Oscars Show.

Currently, Kathlin's day, special occasion, bridesmaids, and graduation dresses are sold direct-to-customer via her design studio loft in Dumbo, Brooklyn and via a hybrid version of ecommerce.

Kathlin is a professor at Parsons School of Design and an instructor at the Fashion Institute of Technology where she has also served as a designer critic. For the University of Fashion, Kathlin lectures on how to start a fashion company.
