Download Free Croquis – Start Sketching Today

- - Fashion Tips

We understand (and advocate) the importance of developing your own sketching style, however, we also do not want anything to come between your design ideas and communicating them on paper.  Therefore, we have enlisted designer and illustrator Jaehoon Lee to create a set of fashion croquis that you can download for free through the University of Fashion.  Simply “Like” our post with Facebook or become a free member to our site by visiting our homepage for details.

Fashion Croquis WomanWe are offering an amazing collection of fashion figures including various poses of the male fashion templates and female croquis, as well as the hard to find tween croquis.

In addition to the downloadable outlined fashion croquis versions that you will be able to print and use as a template underneath tracing paper for sketching designs, the U of F is also offering a dotted outline versions. By downloading and printing the dotted outline croquis, you will  be able to illustrate designs directly onto the printed page using the faint dots as your guide.  Either way, these croquis are a great way  to realize your designs on paper, quickly and effectively.

These easy-to-access fashion croquis figures are intended to give you a springboard for quick sketching your designs.  As you become comfortable getting your ideas on paper, you will then be able to develop your own sketching voice by watching U of F’s online video lessons like how to draw the Female Frontal Pose, The Female Walking Pose, The Male Contrapposto Pose and Drawing & Illustrating the Male Frontal Pose. In no time, you will find your own distinct illustrative drawing style to fit your design aesthetic and vision.
