Single Edge Stitch Seam Finish

Single Edge Stitch Seam Finish

In this lesson, the Single Edge Stitch Seam finish, you will learn how to sew a seam finish that is used on sheer fabrics such as organza, voile, chiffon and georgette.

This finish is most commonly used for sheer seams with no stress on them such as on very full skirts and dresses with many layers of fabric. It is also a great choice when you want the seam allowance on your design to be minimally visible.

You can add to your library of sheer seam finishes by viewing our Sheer Seams Compilation lesson.
