Sheer Hem Finishes Compilation
This lesson is our sheer hem finish compilation. This beginner lesson will teach you the choices you have when hemming garments made out of sheer fabrics such as organza, chiffon and georgette.
The hems you will learn how to sew are the ribbon edge, horsehair, tailored edge or baby hem, machine foot baby hem, the wide straight grain and the hand rolled hem finish.
Learn the ribbon edge hem for when you need a decorative touch and the horsehair hem for when you are looking for a bit of structure. You will also learn the hand rolled baby hem which is the favorite of the couture and the wide straight grain hem when you are looking to add more style to your design.
