Lapped Zipper with a Back Facing

MODULE 1 • Lesson Prep
|1||For our lapped zipper with back facing sampler, we have prepared 2 back body pieces and 2 back facing pieces. If this were not a sampler but an actual garment we would interface the facings.|
|2||We stitched the zipper to right side of our back sampler piece following the instruction from our Lapped Zipper lesson.|
|3||We pressed back the ¾” (1.91cm) seam allowance of the body’s left side to form a crease. Now, position the zipper at ¼” (0.64cm) away from the crease on the seam allowance and stitch the zipper in the middle of the zipper tape.|
